Combined reach covers 200 million monthly active users

Monetisation firm Fuse acquires Corona Labs

Toronto-based firm Fuse Powered has acquired Corona Labs and its suite of game development tools.

Fuse said it hoped to promote its own array of monetisation services to Corona’s 300,000 users who use its SDK.

It added that following the purchase; its reach now covers more than 200 million monthly active users across 10,000 game and app publishers around the world.

The Corona team will continue to work on Corona SDK.

“Over the past five years we’ve built a very strong development platform and community," said Corona Labs CEO Walter Luh.

"In Fuse, we’ve found another company with the same vision to help mobile publishers make more successful games more easily. We will continue to build on the world-class Corona platform, and now our developers will also have amazing monetization and publishing tools at their disposal, with even more to come.”

Fuse Powered already owns mobile tools including ad platform AdRally and monetisation and mobile publishing suite FuseBoxx.
