Montreal Games Summit returns this November

The Montreal International Game Summit will return this November 18th and 19th – and will bring new features in tow.

For its fifth year, conference organisers Alliance numérique have decided to hold free activities for the general public, helping to educate people about Quebec’s booming development profile. In previous years it introduced a business lounge to facilitate networking and a serious games track.

"Since its launch in 2004, the video game industry has experienced tremendous growth in Montreal and Quebec, and it continues to expand," said Alain Lachapelle, director of MIGS.

"Today, Montreal is considered one of the world’s video game capitals. It’s time to showcase the industry here in the city itself. Alliance numérique looks forward to introducing Quebecers to the creativity and vitality of the video game industry.”
