Hosting company to provide special infrastructure support for MTS customers

Monumental partners with GNi

Nottingham, UK-based MMO middleware developer Monumental has announced a partnership with Global NetOptiplex Inc. to provide infrastructure support to Monumental Technology Suite customers.

For an MMO to function, it needs to be able to rely on mission critical hosting, infrastructure and bandwidth support. The idea is that Monumental provides the middleware technology for developing the game, while GNi can provide the hosting and deployment.

"Making great virtual worlds and massively multi-player online games with our technology suite is only one of many aspects of developing and launching a successful product," said Rik Alexander, CEO of Monumental.

"The GNi guys know what they’re doing and specialise in games, so we are proud and confident to offer their services to our technology licensees. Our partnership with GNi offers MTS licensees a complete hosting solution from pre-production through to launch and beyond."
