MMO middleware company signs up 10 new clients in first month

Monumentalâ??s prototype licence proves popular

Massively-multiplayer technology company Monumental has signed 10 new licensees in the past month since the launch of its new Prototype Licence.

The 10 were selected from over 50 applicants, who will be using the middleware to create prototypes of new virtual worlds to attract further investment.

“We see this as a vindication of our strategy of supporting the smaller developer, said Monumental’s business and marketing manager.

“Many of these teams have projects that will be hugely attractive to investors and publishers, and by using our platform they ensure that when the time comes they will be in the strongest possible position to negotiate a deal.”
