Independent studio nDreams, formed by SCi/Eidos vet Patrick O'Luanaigh, has started to reveal details of its first "revolutionary" title - a story-based casual game for women.

nDreams reveals details on first game

The full details on Redemption Day aren’t due until July 5th, but in an initial announcement detailing the game’s hunt for a publishing partner, the studio has talked of creating a game for the predominantly female casual game playing audience but with a compelling story.

Co-author of The Piano Kate Pullinger is writing the story, with support from BAFTA-nominated Gordon Rennie.

O’Luanaigh (pictured) CEO of nDreams – which he founded last year – commented: “We can’t wait to present Venus Redemption to the world. After many months of development and exhaustive gameplay focus testing, we believe that it will prove a breath of fresh air for the casual game sector, and in particular for female casual gamers. With the technology behind Venus Redemption, we can now rapidly develop immersive and visually impressive story-based casual games that will run on almost any PC.”
