Dundee university to begin several new game development modules

New Abertay dev courses include Maya tutorial

Students of game development are being offered a seven week course all about Maya, the ubiquitous 3D modelling tool.

A new Abertay University ‘Dare Academy’ offers students advice on Maya from the bare basics to the expert tips.

The course is expensive, at £999, but the well-respected Abertay says it is a “perfect step for anyone looking to take their passion for games further – or for continued professional development”.

The Dundee-based university is offering three additional courses, comprising of game design, games testing, and game studio lessons.

The first course starts on 18 June.
