Head of external development in Europe said to have new wider remit

New global Sony studios role for Denny?

A report on Videogaming247 claims that SCE Worldwide Studios VP Michael Denny has been given a more global role at Sony.

Officially Denny is currently responsible for all the external development work handled by SCEE, run from his base at Sony’s Studio Liverpool.

Sony has not yet commented on whether word of his promotion to a new wider role is correct.

The rumours follows word that two of London Studio’s PS3 titles have been cancelled.

Sony recently appointed former SCEA studios VP Shuhei Yoshida as president of Sony Worldwide Studios.
