Disney Interactive Studios UK bolsters its in-house games development staff

New hires lead Disney dev charge

As it celebrates its first number one in the UK, Disney Interactive Studios has beefed up the staff count at its EMEA division.

First of the new hires is industry stalwart Sam Parker, who joins as executive producer at Disney. In her 14 year games career she has worked for Vivendi, Runecraft, Hasbro Interactive, Acclaim Studios Cheltenham and was monst recently working in-house at UK firm Codemasters.

Elsehwere Craig Bexon starts as producer having spent the last three years working at Eidos on new third person action title Kane and Lynch and handheld title Diner Dash. He has also previously worked at Codemasters.

Lastly, Ollie Barder has joined as an associate producer from developer Exient. He brings with him several years of journalistic experience having written for The Guardian and GamesTM magazine.
