New iPad pre-orders sell out, Apple claims

Apple claims it is already struggling to keep up with demand for its new iPad, ahead of the device’s March 16th release date.

"Customer response to the new iPad has been off the charts and the quantity available for pre-order has been purchased," the company said in a statement.

"Customers can continue to order online and receive an estimated delivery date."
