Rhianna Pratchett seemingly back on board with Codemasters' wacky fantasy series

New Overlord title teased

The Overlord series is returning, publisher Codemasters has confirmed.

The publisher yesterday released a teaser for the title, more details of which are due to be released this afternoon.

Details about the game remain scarce, although the video below suggests it will be a four-player top down affair and quite different from the main previous instalments and perhaps more akin to 2009 DS title Overlord: Minions. A MOBA, maybe?

It also appears as if Rhianna Pratchett will resume writing duties, having done the same on both 2007’s Overlord and 2009’s Overlord II.

MCV has the full story, plus the teaser trailer.
