Lead designer Matt Cavanagh launches indie group Totem Games

New studio forms from Bizarre Creations collapse

A longstanding servant at defunct studio Bizarre Creations has formed his own indie outfit, known as Totem Games.

Matt Cavanagh, who worked at the Project Gotham studio since 1999, was made redundant when Activision closed Bizarre in February this year.

The experienced designer worked on some of Bizarre’s youngest titles such as Fur Fighters. His last project was the James Bond game Bloodstone.

Few details of Cavanagh’s new studio have been revealed, though its profile page on Twitter reads: “Totem Games is joining all the shiny new indie games companies in their mission to make the world a happier place”.
