Dates set for 2012 event; Game Republic partnership signed

Nina Cliff returns to spearhead Game Horizon

Popular event organiser Nina Cliff has been reappointed as producer for Game Horizon, bring an end to a three-year hiatus.

Cliff (pictured, right) quit Game Horizon in early 2009, after managing the event for four and a half years, to pursue a marketing career at Newcastle-based Dene Communications. She returns to spearhead Game Horizon along with project manager Elspeth Lawson.

Carri Cunliffe (pictured, left), who took charge of the event since 2008, has moved on to focus as managing director of events and consultancy firm Secret Sauce. She remains as a member of the Game Horizon advisory board.

Along with the management reshuffle, Game Horizon will now also partner with Game Republic, the games network for Yorkshire and the UK.
