D3P and G-Mode using the platform to develop online mobile games

Nokia’s SNAP gets Japanese development partners

Two Japanese studios have signed up to use Nokia’s SNAP platform for connected mobile games.

D3P will use the game in the mobile version of its Xbox and PS2 game Earth Defence Force.

G-mode, meanwhile, will be working with Nokia to create Chess a Moment, an online chess title.

Nokia plans to distribute both games on selected Nokia handsets, and make the game available for global operator-assisted download.
