Nominations for the Develop Industry Excellence Awards 2017 are now open.

The 2017 edition of the awards, taking place on the evening of Wednesday the 12 of July at the Hilton Brighton Metropole hotel, runs alongside the Develop: Brighton conference running at the same venue and has a huge 23 categories.

This year we’ve added several new categories to the Creative Achievement branch of the awards, with new awards possible for Animation, Visual Design, Music Design, Sound Design and Best Writing.

Last year, we saw big wins for The Witcher 3 and Her Story, with best new studio going to Triangular Pixels and Development Legend going to Hideo Kojima.

You can see all 23 of the categories on the Develop Awards website, where you’ll also see a handy list of the criteria each award is looking for to be considered for an award.
