Numerous developers, animation groups and QA firms to showcase the Nordic region

Nordic devs prepare Gamescom invasion

This year’s Gamescom event will see around 24 game studios from the Nordic region aim to showcase the strength of the area.

Companies tied to the Nordic game program – developers such as Amazing Games to QA groups such as Hansoft – will be promoting their business under the same booth.

The exhibitors will have a chance to network their firm and promote the region throughout the five-day Gamescom event, which opens August 19.

The purpose behind the Nordic game program – now in its third year – is to ensure the region retains a reputation for quality as well as inject the industry with games that are ‘distinctly Nordic’.
