Publisher also nabs licensing and distribution rights to assortment of other titles

Nordic Games acquires Jagged Alliance IP

Nordic Games has acquired a range of game IPs from German developer and publisher BitComposer.

The deal includes games such as strategy series Jagged Alliance. It has also picked up the licensing and distribution rights to titles such as Panzer Tactics HD, Giana Sisters – Twisted Dreams, North and South, Citadels and Bridget Project.

“The decision to acquire Jagged Alliance was an absolute no-brainer for us," Nordic Games exec Reinhard Pollice.

“The other titles in said acquisition, coupled with the license and distribution rights to other IPs, are a great opportunity to further expand our range of games.”

Nordic Games has acquired numerous gaming IPs in recent times. These include obtaining rights to the THQ trademark and franchises such as Darksiders, Red Faction, Supreme Commander, MX vs ATV and more.

In December last year meanwhile it purchased a string of adventure IPs from dtp Entertainment, including The Moment of Silence, The Mystery of Druids and Curse of the Ghost Ship.
