One week left to enter Game Connection Awards

Developers have only one week left if they want to nominate their work for either the next round of Game Connection Awards.

The awards will take place during Game Connection Europe in Paris from October 28th to 30th. They’re opn to all studios, regardless of target platform, stage of development, genre or distribution method.

The Game Connection Development Awards gives devs the chance to be rewarded for their creativity and originality. There are 12 categories, with new prizes including Best Indie Game and the Game Connection People’s Choice Awards.

Nominees will also be showcased in the Development Awards pavillion on the showfloor, with a potential audience of more than 2,700 industry professionals and journalists. All projects are judges by industry experts and publishers. 

Meanwhile the Game Connection Marketing Awards recognises the more creative and inspiring work done in the process of promoting games.

Nominees will be whittled down to three finalists in each of the ten categories, with the selected studios offered the chance to do a two-minute presentation on their campaign. Each finalist will also be automatically entered to the Best Marketing Team 2015 award.

The deadline for both awards is Monday, August 17th. Devs can nominate themselves for the Development Awards here, and the Marketing Awards here.
