But Apple has not yet approved the service

OnLive app streams games to iPhone and iPad

A new mobile app streaming console-quality games is scheduled to hit the App Store today.

Cloud gaming firm OnLive has introduced new software that lets customers play high-end games on touch-screen mobiles.

But the app has yet to be approved by Apple, sparking rumours that it could be banned from iPhone and iPad.

The app will allow OnLive users to play their games on a tablet from the same save file, with access to all the other standard OnLive features (such as Brag Clips and the OnLive Arena).
