Paradox Interactive Appoints Fredrik Wester as CEO

PC game developer and publisher Paradox Interactive has promoted its former executive vice president to CEO.

Fredrik Wester, who joined the company in 2003 before becoming director of publishing in 2004, will now be responsible for all of the company’s sales and marketing related activities, a number of business development projects and the entire portfolio of Paradox games.

“Leading Paradox has been a goal of mine since day one here,” said Wester. "We have an outstanding internal team in place and have developed partnerships that will help elevate Paradox to the next level. I look forward to leading that charge.”

Paradox is most well known for it’s work on Majesty – The Fantasy Kingdom Sim and the third instalment of Hearts of Iron.
