New update brings about 'very significant optimisations'

PathEngine hits version 5.17

PathEngine has released version 5.17 of its pathfinding middleware.

The update largely focuses on bug fixes and optimisations. According to the update’s changelog, preprocess file sizes are now a fraction of those in the previous version, while pathfind preprocess loading has been sped up by more than two times.

Also featured are several minor API improvements, including significant refactoring and a reduction in the overall executable footprint of the SDK, and a new Maya 2008 plugin and search functionality for the help documentation.
