Game design legend may attend Brighton event celebrating spoof twitter account

Peter Molyneux may attend Molydeux game jam

Peter Molydeux may be a fake twitter account, but there is nothing fake about the game jam inspired by his comic twitter musings.

Vox Games has reported that the real game design legend Peter Molyneux, spoofed by the twitter handle, is considering attending the event.

While @petermolydeux will not be attending the event himself, Molyneux has already signed up to follow the event online, and sources claim he may even show up at the event’s Brighton location.

The jam will be held in San Francisco from March 31st to April 1st, and organizers have also announced a Brighton location to take advantage of local interest.

"Having quite a few game studios and digital companies in the area (Relentless, ex-Black Rock folks and Unity3D), I thought it would be great to organise an outpost of the game jam and get in on the action," Brighton organizer Edward Parris wrote in an email.

"I didn’t just want to be coding on my own and knew that other people would be up for it.
