Tech and legal firms back world's most successful studio list

Philips amBX and Sheridans sponsor Develop 100

Momentum behind the Develop 100 continues to build, with entertainment law firm Sheridans and Philips amBX signing up to sponsor the book.

Published later this week, the Develop 100 ranks the world’s studios based on the retail sales of their games.

Sheridans is a law firm with over fifty years experience advising the biggest names in media and communications as a specialist in music, film, television and now games as well. Philips’ amBX, meanwhile, provides ambient sound and light effects to upcoming games via its proprietary hardware and programming API – the technology has already been signed up for use by over 30 games studios.

The Develop 100 is published every year and has become a definitive guide for everyone in the games development sector, outlining the key commercial achievements by studios around the globe. Stats are provided by ChartTrack, while analysis and commentary is provided by the Develop editorial team.
