North East games development association Game Horzion plans to lift the lid on the business opportunities presented by the PlayStation 3 at an event taking place next month.

Entitled ‘PlayStation 3 101’ the event will see a number of SCEE execs step up as speakers to discuss the new Sony machine and tell developers ‘everything you always wanted to know about PS3 but were afraid to ask’.

The line-up of SCEE speakers includes Phil Gaskell from the External Development team and head of EDI for SCEE, European account manager for third parties Nick Rooke, head of business solutions and content management Sarah McDonnell and content development manager Deniz Ahmet.

The talk kicks off at 6pm on February 22nd at the Life Sciences Centre in Newcastle. More information and details about registration can be found at the official site here.
