Polish push for Emergentâ??s Eastern European expansion

Emergent has opened a new regional office in Poland, reacting to the growing Eastern European development industry.

The office will be headed up by industry vet Dave Solomon, who will work to grow relationships with Eastern European developers and provide on-the-ground support for the region. Bulgarian developer Black See and Russian studios Alterlab and Play Ten already use Emergent’s game technologies.

Geoffrey Selzer, CEO of Emergent, said: “We are seeing a great deal of creativity in terms of games, concepts and technologies coming out of the Eastern European game development community.

“Emergent is very proud to be supporting what we view as some of the best minds and talent in the industry as this segment of the market matures. Dave Solomon is a great addition to our team and we are happy to have him on board to represent us in the region and lead our expanded operations there.”
