Popular indie platformer returns for a sequel

Polytron reveals Fez 2

Indie developer Polytron has announced it is working on a sequel to its popular isometric platformer Fez.

A teaser trailer has been released on the official Polytron site, although so far no further details have been given on the project, except that Disasterpiece will be involved in the project.

The original Fez, created by Phil Fish, who also starred in video game documentary Indie Game: The Movie, has sold over 200,000 copies since its release in April last year.

The platformer also proved popular with critics, garnering a Metacritic score of 89 per cent across PC and Xbox 360.
