Reboot Develop speakers announced, including Tim Schafer and Julian Gollop

The Reboot Develop 2018 conference has announced its line-up of speakers. The event, held in Dubrovnik, Croatia, will have over 100 speakers of the three days of April 19th-21st. The organisers have said that the conference will have double the capacity of this year’s successful conference.

For those talks, Tim Schafer of Double Fine Productions will be taking time out of developing Psychonauts 2 to hold a talk as will Snapshot Games CEO, Julian Gollop, famed for the original X-COM series of games. They will also be joined by Obsidian Entertainment’s Josh Sawyer, who is currently working on Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire.

Indie development is also going to be taking a bigger role in the 2018 conference with speakers such as Vlambeer’s Rami Ismail, Mike Bithell of Mike Bithell Games and White Owls CEO Hidetaka "Swery" Suehiro. The Indie Expo area will also be bigger compared to last year and the Indie Awards held at the show are also growing with new categories.

The conference, which is entering its fifth year is quickly becoming a regular fixture in the game development calendar, being held in the picturesque and historical Dubrovnik, now famous as doubling for Game of Thrones’ King’s Landing. Early bird tickets are available until March 18th, 2018, so there’s plenty of time to book, and more speaker announcements are due to come over the next six months.
