Red Dead Redemption dated

Rockstar has dated the release of its much-anticipated Western action shooter Red Dead Redemption.

As expected, the title will arrive in April – on the 27th in North America and the 30th internationally.

This is our vision of the American West: beautiful, bloody and action-packed. The game is a true epic, and has been developed with the same production values and attention to detail we put into all our projects,” said Rockstar Games founder Sam Houser.

Red Dead Redemption pits players as the ‘partially reformed’ outlaw John Marston, who has been blackmailed by the Government. The title was developed by Rockstar San Diego in conjunction with Rockstar North.
