Virtual world specialist joins development association

RedBedlam joins Tiga

Brighton-based virtual world developer RedBedlam has become the latest outfit to join UK and Europe development association Tiga.

“It’s about time we put ourselves at the heart of the UK’s development community,” RedBedlam’s president Kerry Fraser-Robinson said. “Tiga has done a great job of putting UK developers on the map and I believe that we will benefit from the membership services and political representation they make on our behalf.

“We have been encouraged by ex-Tiga CEO and RedBedlam executive director Fred Hasson to support Tiga, the industry body that has done so much to draw attention to the creative force of UK developers. We thoroughly believe we will be able to do justice to that reputation through our endeavours to become a leading MMOG and virtual world developer.”

Tiga CEO Richard Wilson added: “Tiga’s vision is to make the UK the best place in the world to do games business. To that end we are improving the effectiveness of our political campaigning, raising the profile of the games industry in the media and developing new services for Tiga members. I am delighted that RedBedlam has joined Tiga and that they support our new strategy.”
