Passes for ambitious new French developer conference go on sale

Registration opens for Lyon GDC

Lyon GDC, the upcoming developer conference taking place in December, has opened for registration and unveiled its new website at lyongdc.com.

The event, which takes place on December 3rd and 4th in Lyon, France, is co-hosted by GDC organiser CMP and Game Connection host Connection Events. Game Connection Europe runs alongside Lyon GDC from December 4th to 6th.

Attendance to Lyon GDC currently costs from €365 for early bird passes, with combined ‘All Access’ passes for the GDC and Game Connection B2B event also available starting from €645.

While keynotes and exact sessions in the conference are still to be confirmed, the event is being put together with an overall focus on next-gen and multi-platform development, designed to help studios prepare for the new market dominated by Wii, 360 and PS3.

Those interested in submitting a session proposal may still do so, however – although the deadline is at the end of the week. More information on that can be found at the official site.
