Stealth-action title Sabotage to launch on PC and next-gen consoles

Replay Studios signs with Gamecock

German indie developer Replay Studios has signed a deal with Gamecock for its latest title, Sabotage.

A keen user of middleware and outsourcing to create games with only medium-sized in-house teams, Replay will be readying the game for a fall 2008 release on PC and next-gen consoles.

The game sees players taking the role of Violet Summer, a British secret agent in WW2 who infiltrates the German front. The twist, however, is that the game plays out in Violet’s mind – her physical form confined to a hospital bed towards the end of the war.

“After we had the chance to participate in Gamecock’s EIEIO event, we knew we really wanted to work with them. They’ve been totally supportive of our vision and how we want to create this title,” said Sascha Jungnickel, creative director at Replay Studios.

Harry Miller, president of the Gamecock Media Group, added: “Not only is Sabotage a visually beautiful game, but it has some incredibly innovative gameplay that will certainly be a welcome addition to the industry. The team at Replay is incredibly passionate about this title and that’s exactly why we want to work with them.”
