New online venture set for May announcement and E3 showing, claims 'industry source'

Report: Bethesda ‘set to reveal Elder Scrolls MMO’

Bethesda is set to take its flagship franchise the Elder Scrolls into the MMO space, it has been claimed.

An “industry source” has reportedly told TomsGuide that the game will feature three playable factions, represented by a lion, dragon and bird of prey, and will take place a thousand years before Skyrim.

The game could also be set for an E3 and QuakeCon showing after its reveal, claim the sources.

Bethesda has declined to comment on the matter.

The developer has openly been searching for staff with ‘MMO experience’, although it was previously thought that the new online venture would be set within the Fallout universe.
