Car football game achieves new milestone less than two months after launch

Rocket League sales blast past 1m on Steam

Rocket League has surpassed one million sales on Steam.

The game was released on July 7th for free for PS4 PS Plus subscribers and for £14.99 on Steam. Last month it was announced rocket-powered car football game had racked up more than five million downloads in just over 20 days.

It was also revealed that Rocket League had more than doubled the lifetime sales of its predecessor Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars.

At the time, Steam Spy estimated the number of Steam owners at just over 524,000. If correct, that means the game has sold nearly 500,000 extra copies in less than a month.
