Sam Barlow working on Her Story 2

One of 2015’s most surprisingly, and wonderful hits, is getting a sequel, or at least a spiritual successor.

Developer Sam Barlow has tweeted a teaser script page for Her Story 2. Barlow also confirmed that the title will have no narrative ties to the first game, offering a standalone mystery to explore.

Her Story was released on PC and iOS in June. Most thought the FMV genre (full motion video) a thing of the past, but the release catapulted it right back into the modern era with a unique game mechanic truly unlike anything we’ve seen before. It went on to sell 100k copies in its first month.
