THQ studio to use Kynogonâ??s AI middleware

Sandblast licenses Kynapse

Sandblast Games, one of THQ’s internal studios, has licensed Kynapse for the upcoming third instalment of the Destroy All Humans! franchise.

“Seeing Kynapse in action made our decision very easy,” said David Bollesen, Sandblast’s general manager.

“The scale of our open-world levels demanded a complex and accurate 3D pathfinding solution. Kynogon’s toolset easily delivered on this challenge with impressive performance, efficiency, and easy integration into our game engine. We appreciate Kynogon’s continued support and commitment to help our team deliver the best game possible.”

Pierre Pontevia, CEO of Kynogon, added: “It is always very rewarding to collaborate with leading game developers such as Sandblast Games on the development of original console games. Our team at Kynogon is very proud to see Kynapse in Destroy All Humans 3!”
