Easy SpeedTree and GFx integration comes to Gamebryo

Scaleform and IDV join Emergent’s partner program

Emergent’s new Partners Program has grown with the addition of Scaleform and Interactive Data Visualization to the line-up.

Scaleform’s GFx hardware accelerated vector-based UI and font technology has been used with Emergent’s Gamebryo by several customers already, including Sony Online Entertainment and 2K Firaxis. Similarly, IDV’s SpeedTree has also previously been used with the engine by Bethesda. The joining of the tech companies in the Partner Program will mean that integration will be significantly easier, and new customers will have an increased choice in middleware components.

“We provide a modular and flexible development solution that takes developers to that next level of game creation,” said Geoffrey Selzer, CEO of Emergent.

“By integrating our Partner’s tools into Gamebryo, we are able to enhance our customers’ opportunities to succeed by providing a community of solutions. We integrate these world-class solutions so our customers can focus on making great games.”
