Developer working on 'unique action adventure' for PS Vita

Sega names new UK studio Hardlight

Sega has named its new UK studio ‘Hardlight’ after revealing it through a jobs listing searching for a programmer.

Hardlight, Sega’s third UK studio, is currently working on a “unique action adventure developed exclusively for PS Vita”, and is due for release late this year.

The West Midlands developer was announced in June last year, formed from key staff that headed up Sega Racing Studio before its closure.

The job listing also stated the Solihull studio would be working closely with Sega R&D to “stay at the cutting edge of developments in technology, middleware and game experiences”, and is focused on creating “high quality and innovative experiences for both current and future platforms”.
