Leading European development publication to be distributed at major US CG conference

Siggraph ties with Develop

The annual US computer graphics conference Siggraph will also act as a major distribution point for the Develop magazine in the US this July.

Siggraph is the annual conference on computer graphics convened by the ACM Siggraph organization.

Organisers says the event promotes the generation and dissemination of information on computer graphics and interactive techniques, while fostering a community whose core values help catalyze the innovation of computer graphics and interactive techniques.

Keynote speakers confirmed for this year’s event are Don Marinelli, executive producer at the Carnegie Mellon Entertainment Technology Center; and Jim Morris, General Manager and EVP of production at Pixar Animation Studios.

Other speakers will include Ian Cooney of Walt Disney Animation Studios; Steve Sauers, Brice Criswell and Michael Lentine of Industrial Light & Magic; Shawn Dunn and Marco Revelant of Weta Digital Ltd and Jean-Baptiste de la Rivière of Immersion SAS.

Develop is Europe’s only business website and publication dedicated solely to game development – covering design, coding, art, sound and business development.

The Develop website offers daily news, jobs, technology updates, opinion and info-sharing amongst a strictly specialised professional community.

The July issue of the Develop magazine will be available at the event, featuring all the latest international development news and information, as well as an extensive special feature on the future of Stereoscopic 3D games.
