Developer center established to help local studios

Singapore games hub chooses Autodesk

Autodesk has signed a deal to become a technology partner for the Media Development Authority (MDA) of Singapore.

The agreement will permit Autodesk tech to be used in Singapore’s new Games Solution Centre – a business and development hub that helps local developers create and commercialise their games.

"Industry and government collaboration has always been key to growing the media sector in Singapore,” said MDA director Thomas Lim.

“We are pleased to have the strong support of Autodesk at the Games Solution Centre. Access to Autodesk’s Gameware and suites can potentially benefit more than 500 game developers over the next three years,” he added.
