Intent Media launches Sourcebook website, a complete guide to the games industry's leading service companies and suppliers

Sourcebook 2010 goes online

Develop and MCV publisher Intent Media has launched a dedicated online version of Sourcebook – the definitive reference guide for businesses serving the video games industry.

The Sourcebook website (www.intentmedia.co.uk/sourcebook) is live now, and covers every sector of the games business, including: creative and promotional, digital distribution, gaming accessories, international distribution, legal services, localisation, QA and testing, manufacturing services, recruitment, software development and UK distribution and logistics.

The website showcases the key companies across each sector, offering an at-a-glance snapshot of the wealth of companies servicing the games industry. In addition, a digital version of the print edition is available to download.

The print version of Sourcebook was published last week with MCV and will also be distributed with selected reader codes of Develop, Mobile Entertainment and PCR magazines. Circulation for the print product is 20,000 copies.

“We launched the Sourcebook almost ten years ago now, having recognised that there was a need for a dedicated directory of service and ancillary companies,” explained Intent Media managing director Stuart Dinsey.

“In 2010 the Sourcebook has become the bible for the European games industry, covering more sectors and companies than ever before. And our new website and digital edition means that even more people will be able to access the Sourcebook than before.”
