Speaker submission deadline for Develop:Brighton is on 20 March

Develop:Brighton is returning to the seaside this year from the 11-13 July, inviting games industry professionals from around the world to frolic on Brighton’s beaches and the seafront Hilton Metropole hotel.

Develop:Brighton prides itself on tackle the current issues facing game developers with the aim of offering advice, guidelines on best practice and sometimes just plain inspiration. To make sure Develop correctly represents these issues they take talk submissions from a variety of backgrounds in the industry.

That’s where you, reading this article, come into play.

Develop:Brighton is looking for 45-minute lectures, although you’ll have to build in time for a Q&A as part of your talk. There’s lots more information on recommended themes, topics and details of the tracks to apply for on Develop’s website, and speakers will need to apply using the submission form on the website before 20 March 2017.

You’ll also need to record a 2-minute video of yourself talking about your proposed talk, why people should attend it and what they’ll get out of it.
