Speakers named as Games:Edu registration opens

Games education conference Games:Edu has opened registration for its two events taking place in Manchester and Brighton this year.

Backed by Skillset, Games:Edu is aimed at those teaching games development and videogame education and tries to bring together the Europe’s foremost educators from across all disciplines to connect with computer games developers and producers.

As previously announced this year there are two Games:Edu events.

Games:Edu North takes place on April 29th as part of the GamesGrads career fair. The event boasts talks from the big studios in UK games development, such as Sony Studio Liverpool, Evolution Studios, Electronic Arts’ Burnout Team, and a number of ‘Skillset Sessions’ workshops.

Games:Edu South, meanwhile, takes place on July 29th as part of the Develop conference and expo. The sessions take a look at independent games development, with talks from Jonathan Blow and Introversion.

You can register now at www.gamesedu.co.uk. The early bird deadlines close on April 7th (North) and July 4th (South).
