Steve Jobs ordered Apple to pull Fox Network ads

The late Apple boss Steve Jobs pulled the plug on his firm advertising its products Rupert Murdoch’s TV network Fox.

Jobs – who was a Buddhist – allegedly believed that Fox has become an incredibly destructive force in US society” according to an upcoming book about the 2012 US presidential campaign from Jonathan Alter.

Fudzilla reports that Jobs personally told Murdoch that he had blown it” with Fox, which he had allowed to become a destructive conservative force.

He is quoted as saying: You can be better, and this is going to be your legacy if you’re not careful. Rupert’s a builder, not a tearer-downer. I’ve had some meetings with [Murdoch’s son] James, and I think he agrees with me. I can just tell."
