Online mentorship course will run for six months and teach devs about the business side of game making

Submissions open for third Core Labs Game Accelerator programme

Devs can now apply for entry into this year’s Core Labs Game Accelerator.

The programme is the third such course to take place, with the 20 to 30 teams accepted set to receive six months of tutelage with regards to the business requirements and challenges of making games.

Almost 40 mentors will provide assistance to devs in order to help them evolve their project from an idea to a successful product.

Events include weekly workshops, help with professional services such as finance, feedback on their game and business strategy, and the chance to network with publishers and partners.

In order to be eligible, devs need a playable prototype for their game, which can be on any platform and in any genre. Teams from any country and of any size are permitted.

The course costs nothing to participate in, but Core Labs will claim five per cent revenue share of the game taken through the programme upon release.

Applications are open from now until August 7th.
