Former student founds new downloadable game studio

Swansea Met Uni gets studio spin-off

A new studio has been founded by a former student of Swansea Metropolitan University.

Floating Point Studios is one of the first games businesses to be based in Swansea, and is currently developing new IP downloadable games for the PC.

The studio is already in talks with Valve to distribute its titles through Steam.

Floating Point Studios has been founded by Julian Hainsworth. The studio is partly self-funded by Hainsworth with other cash from a business loan granted by Finance Wales Investments Limited.
