T3 takes control of Hellgate, Mythos development

While Flagship may be operating with skeleton staff, its two projects – Hellgate: London and Mythos – are set to continue on in the hands of T3 Entertainment, according to a Gamasutra report.

The Korean developer of super-popular dance MMO Audition, T3 is to create a new dev studio in San Francisco and is currently recruiting people to ‘passionately continue development of Hellgate: London and Mythos, along with other new games, which are being published by HanbitSoft Inc."

An earlier wrangle had surfaced between Flagship and HanbitSoft (Hellgate’s Asian operator), who claimed that the Mythos IP had been used as collateral against a loan from them, and also said it planned to take over development of HanbitSoft. T3 recently acquired a controlling stake in HanbitSoft, thus enabling it to continue development.
