Codemasters developer relations boss jumps ship

Talent agency DDM ‘launches UK division’

Digital Development Management, the games industry talent agency that has represented the likes of Obsidian and Turtle Rock Studios, is reported to have opened a UK base in Manchester.

The UK outfit will be managed by Mat Mortlock, according to a GamesIndustry.biz report. Mortlock previously led acquisitions and developer relationships at Codemasters.

Digital Development Management boasts a strong list of exclusive clients, particularly in the UK with Slightly Mad Studios, Ninja Theory and Headstrong Games on board.

The talent agency has offices in the US, Japan and Sweden.

"We are thrilled to be expanding our operations into the UK with the launch of our new office," said Jeff Hilbert, co-founder of DDM.

"Mat’s experience and fostered relationships throughout Europe bring not only tremendous expertise to our business in this region, but also for our developer clients worldwide."

Beyond representation, DDM offers consultation and project management services.
