Flockers, the brand new IP from Team17, has been formally announced as a quirky – and gory – puzzle game.
Develop exclusively revealed last month the Worms firm was working on its first new IP in several years, and now we have more details on what Flockers actually entails.
As you can guess from the screenshot above, the game involves guiding a herd of sheep through a mechanical slaughterhouse, solving puzzles to reveal the correct path. Failure to do so results in a grisly end for your flock.
"Flockers is a twisted blend of Lemmings’ inspired gameplay and Tim Burton-style macabre, all topped off with a dose of that classic Worms humour," the company writes in the game’s first press release.
The game will first be released on PC via Steam Early Access in Q2 2014. You can check out the first footage right here:
