Terminal Reality and Redfly to develop new Ghostbuster title

Vivendi games is to release a game based on the Ghostbusters film franchise and has signed up Terminal Reality and Redfly to make the various versions, reports Variety.

The game is due for release later this year on the 360, PS3, Wii, PC, PS2 and DS with Terminal Reality (PS3, 360, PC) and Redfly (Wii, PS2) developing the respective SKUs.

Earlier this year a tech demo put together by independent Zootfly based on Ghostbusters grabbed headlines on consumer sites – however this production is unrelated.

As with your typial movie tie-in, the game has cinematic aspirations; the entire original cast – Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson – are returning to provide in-game voices for the title.
