Studios invited to network at second Guild For Developers event

Testology hosting Guildford developer meet-up

Testology is reaching out to UK developers to attend its latest networking event in the thriving hub of Guidford.

The Guild For Developers meet-up (Guildford developers – see what they did they?) will be held on Friday October 9th and gives local studios the chance to get to know fellow games makers in the areas.

You can find out more and register your place at the event’s website.

It’s part of ongoing efforts to establish a more connected community in Guildford. Another example is Molyneux’s call for developers in the area to test each other’s games – a venture that Develop has since learned is already underway.

Testology ran the first Guild For Developers meet three months ago, and the firm promises that this second event will be have the same focus as the first: networking.

“There will be no speakers to listen to and no drinks that need to be purchased,” the firm wrote on the event site.

“We reckon Guildford’s got the highest population density of game industry veterans in all of Europe. You’ll probably bump into a few along with a load of interesting new faces, not only from games but also digital media and gambling companies.

“GFD is here to connect and strengthen the digital industries but we can’t do it without you. Help us out by coming along regularly, having a good time and spreading the word.”
