Facility includes 46 cameras and 12 metre-by-13 metre capture volume

The Creative Assembly opens new mo-cap studio

The Creative Assembly has opened a new motion capture studio in Horsham.

The facility, the largest developer-owned mo-cap building in Europe, will be used to record full body animation for the upcoming Total War: Rome 2 and future releases.

The studio includes 46 cameras and a 12 metre-by-13 metre capture volume.

Creative Assembly took the decision to invest in a new larger facility as motion capture, having previously used a smaller set-up at its Horsham office, has become an integral part of its Total War franchise.
